An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.
A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.
These detentions come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, two women were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.
A three-year-old girl was one of the injured in the event. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been released.
Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.
Authorities were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of several people injured by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.
The assault - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
